These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Smart Energy (the "platform", "we", "us"), including the staff dashboard, the tenant self-service portal, and this website. By creating an account, logging in, or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the organization you represent.
Smart Energy is multi-tenant property and utility billing software. It lets an organization manage properties, buildings, units and tenants; register meters and record readings; configure tariffs; generate and send invoices; collect payments online or record them manually; and view dashboards and reports for its own data. Organizations also subscribe to a plan to use the platform, billed and managed as described below.
A tenant invited to the self-service portal may view their own bills, download invoices, and pay online where a payment link has been made available by the organization's staff. A tenant's access is strictly limited to their own data — they cannot see any other tenant's information, and cannot generate their own payment links. Access can be limited or removed by the organization at any time.
You agree not to:
An organization retains ownership of the data it enters into the platform (its properties, tenants, billing records, etc.). We process this data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. On termination of an account, an organization may request export or deletion of its data, subject to any legal retention requirements.
The platform integrates with third-party services an organization may choose to configure, including Razorpay for online payments, an SMTP provider for email, and a WhatsApp Business API provider for WhatsApp notifications. Use of those services is also subject to that provider's own terms; we are not responsible for their availability or performance.
The Smart Energy platform — its software, design, and branding — is owned by Webzbolt and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding beyond what's needed to use the platform as intended.
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep it accurate and reliable, we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including billing errors, payment delays, or third-party service outages, beyond amounts actually paid for the subscription in the period giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your (or your organization's) misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third party's rights (including a tenant's data rights an organization failed to obtain proper consent for).
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
